On 12 November 2017, our satellite Asgardia-1 entered space, establishing the space nation’s sovereign territory. The satellite contains Asgardia’s Constitution, national symbols and other documents, as well as files uploaded by Asgardians.

Parliamentary Elections

We are as excited as you are to form the government as fast as possible. That is why, by your demand, we are speeding up the parliamentary elections. What does this mean for you? Active participation, as usual! You have just under two months to nominate yourself or vote!

We are also currently consolidating leadership and parliamentary elections, which means that anyone with at least three votes is automatically considered a parliamentary candidate. This change takes place on 18 November 2017. If you did not participate in the leadership elections and wish to run for Parliament of Asgardia, click here. And if you're not running, don’t forget to vote!

Note: Any candidate involved in voting fraud (e.g. creating fake accounts, applying pressure tactics, trading votes for favours, etc.) will be disqualified and removed from running for office in Asgardia. Asgardia reserves the right to disqualify, remove or veto votes without warning.

Remember, the chosen 150 Members of Parliament will represent their voters by taking on the responsibility of leading the way for the nation. They will set its course through adopting laws, calling referenda and appointing ministers and justices.

Asgardia is a space nation that sees no Earthly boundaries. That is why our districts are chosen based on languages, not countries.
